The M.G. Charitable Trust ® was established in 1997 with a vision to impart quality education and cater to the needs of students of Bangalore. To fulfill this vision our Trustees Dr. S.M.Venkatpathi and Mrs. Ramadevi Venkatpathi established the East Point College of Management in 2007 at HRBR Layout, Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore at the East Point Academy campus.

The college is affiliated to the Bangalore University (College code W9) / Bangalore North University (College Code 7670) and conducts the three year degree course (six semesters) in Commerce and Management streams, providing students with an education that is enriching and empowering.
