GNM | General Nursing & Midwifery

Duration :

3 Years

General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) is a three year job-oriented diploma program that aims to train individuals in advanced skills in nursing with a focus on midwifery services as well. The course is meticulously designed to train students as fully-fledged nursing professionals through a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on training.

The first year of the course lays a strong foundation in medical concepts and fundamentals of nursing. The subsequent two years focus on providing a holistic understanding of the discipline of nursing, covering various specialized areas. The integration of theory with practical experience is a key feature, allowing students to develop a comprehensive skill set. It goes beyond clinical skills, also emphasizing essential communication, administrative, and leadership skills, crucial for those aspiring to excel in General Nursing and Midwifery.

This course addresses the essential need for qualified nursing professionals proficient in various aspects of healthcare, including maternity care, post-trauma care, rehabilitative care, and mental health support.

Eligibility : *

* As notified by KSNC, INC, KSDNEB, & Government of Karnataka from time to time

  • Pass in 10+2 with 40% in any discipline and mandatory English.
  • Max age: 35 & Min age: 17.
