East Point College of Engineering & Technology is very much delighted to inform that their Training & Placement Cell team had hosted “Fujitec Campus Placement Drive” for the engineering students passed out in the year 2019 from the Mechanical and Electrical & Electronics departments. Fujitec India Pvt. Ltd is a leading Japanese multinational company associated with elevator and escalator manufacturing. Fujitec undertakes the design, production, marketing, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and modernization of wide range of vertical transportation equipment, comprising of elevators, escalators and auto walks. Fujitec India Pvt. Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Fujitec Co., Ltd, Japan.
Fujitec is in search of fresh engineers to be employed as “Graduate Engineer Trainee [GET]” for installation and sales profiles. The students from the Mechanical and Electrical & Electronics disciplines were considered for these roles. The selected students in this placement drive will be offered a permanent position in this company. The Training & Placement Cell team hosted the drive on Saturday, 17th August 2019. About 50 to 60 students participated in this placement drive.
The key delegates Mr. V Thirumalesh, General Manager – Installation, Mr. R Krishnamurthy, Senior General Manager – Installation, Mr. Bipin, Manager – HR from Fujitec India Pvt. Ltd had visited East Point College of Engineering & Technology campus to conduct the placement drive. The welcome speech for the delegates was given by Mr. S Mohan Das, Placement Director, East Point College of Engineering & Technology. Following that, Dr. Prakash, the Principal of the East Point College of Engineering & Technology greeted the key delegates with a floral welcome and addressed the students of the college with a motivational speech. The selection process started with the company profile powerpoint presentation given by Mr. Bipin and Mr. R Krishnamurthy, followed by a written test, group discussion and then a face-to-face technical interview. The results of this interview are yet to be declared.
